May 2016 - November 2016Carlos Sierra served as the National Field Director for the Gary Johnson for President Campaign. Sierra oversaw ballot access in all 50 states and D.C., planned all political rallies and events for Governor Johnson and Governor Weld, oversaw all advocacy groups and coalitions, oversaw field and grassroots including the ground game in all 50 states, volunteers, and field staff, and oversaw the distribution of merchandise. The 2016 election cycle was the Libertarian Party’s most successful in its history. We attained ballot access in all 50 states, raised more money than all previous Libertarian tickets combined, and built an army of thousands of volunteers throughout the country, resulting in the Libertarian’s highest vote total and percentage of the vote, ever.

February 2013 - July 2013Carlos Sierra served as the General Consultant, Strategist, and Digital Strategist for the mayoral campaign of first-time candidate Oscar Leeser. In an 8-person primary, Leeser received almost 50% of the vote, almost avoiding a runoff. In the runoff, Leeser finished with nearly 75% of the vote, making it the widest margin of victory for any competitive El Paso mayoral race ever.

August 2012 - November 2012Carlos Sierra served as Co-Chairman and Campaign Manager to the Citizens for Professional Law Enforcement Committee, in Maricopa County, Arizona. Congressman Ruben Gallego served as Co-Chairman. This committee served as the official "Anti-Sheriff Arpaio Campaign Committee." The 2012 election for Maricopa Sheriff was the closest race of Sheriff Arpaio's career, garnering only 50.66% of the vote.

April 2011 - July 2012Carlos Sierra served as the National Campaign Manager to the Buddy Roemer for President Campaign, the youngest manager of the 2012 cycle. Governor Roemer was a four time Congressman and one term Governor from Louisiana who ran on a pro-campaign finance reform and anti-corruption platform. With a $100 limit on donations, no donations from lobbyists or Wall Street bankers, and no Super PAC ties, Roemer was able to build a national grassroots army that made corruption and campaign finance reform a key issue to voters. Roemer was also the first candidate to qualify for public financing.
